In a few short days, the Great American Whiskey Fair will bring their Internationally recognized show to Columbia, SC for the 11th time, and for the first time, The Gamecock Bourbon Society has been invited to join them. Present at the event will be over 300 different American Whiskies, Bourbons, and Ryes from all over the US, as well as over 100 different distilleries and bottlers representing their brands. The opportunity to taste Japanese, Irish, or Scotch Whisky will be available for those that haven’t ventured outside the United States with their taste buds. The Gamecock Bourbon Society will be there, and will have some great giveaways and raffles planned! Come find us and say hello!
Your ticket will give you access to every single whiskey that is presented, and a souvenir tasting glass to take home as well. Stony Creek Cigars and Wild Turkey will be presenting a Cigar Veranda for those that want to venture outside to pair their whiskey with some fine hand rolled tobacco. (Cigars are the only extra item you will pay for as the ticket price covers all whiskey and BBQ). Being able to bounce from the Eagle Rare table to the Four Roses Table to the Heaven Hill table is a unique experience.
The bourbon trail in Kentucky is fantastic, but it is also long and time consuming; for $90, you can do it right here in Columbia, SC with us. Although VIP tickets are sold out, there are some General Admission tickets that remain. Remember, there will be NO “day of” ticket sales for this event and it sells out every year. This is the Gamecocks bye week, and doesn’t interfere with College Football Saturday, so rest assured, getting your tickets sooner than later would be a good idea if you want to go.
