It’s that time of year again! Join us for the 3rd Annual Gamecock Bourbon Society Golf Tournament at the Historic Aiken Golf Club in Aiken, SC. Tee off alongside fellow Gamecocks, bourbon enthusiasts, and legendary USC athletes for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and—of course—some incredible bourbons to enjoy after the round.

The format remains 4-man teams playing Captain’s Choice, with a shotgun start at 10:00 AM. Each player will receive a commemorative sleeve of golf balls and a crystal rocks glass featuring the Gamecock Bourbon Society/Aiken Golf Club logo. After the round, enjoy complimentary cigars (for those who indulge), cold beer, plenty of water, and a delicious lunch delivered to you right on the course. Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet the famous Cornbread Cowboi and some of the best accounts on Gamecock social media.

Compete for honors in our on-course challenges:

  • Longest Drive on Hole #10
  • Closest to the Pin on Hole #18
  • Best Dressed: Which team has the best shirt/short combo?
  • Worst Team: No one likes finishing last, but the team that does always leaves with something fun.
  • Winning Team: Take home the coveted Bourbon Barrel Stave Trophies, made by one of our longtime members, Steven Sielicki, along with:
    • 4 bottles of bourbon
    • 4 Glencairn Whiskey Water Jugs
    • 4 Paul Macon shirts (company launches next month)
    • 4 tournament hats

Red Solo Cup Challenge

Each member of your team will have the opportunity to tee off on Hole #1 with a Red Solo Cup covering your ball (see photo with Spencer Rattler from the inaugural year). Wherever the best drive ends up, the team will play the hole from there as if it’s your first shot! Easiest Eagle out there on the course.

Have a shot you’d like to do-over? Are you the team that finishes second by one stroke, but missed a 3-footer you wish you had back? Pre-purchase up to 4 mulligans per team and have a chance to lower your score and win some great prizes. If your team buys 4, you get 1 extra for a total of 5 mulligans max per team.
